i have a crush and he is really cute and now that his best girlf friend is going out with someone else i want to go out with him. People say that i am pretty but my nose is a little on the biggish side but people say that im stiill really pretty but some people say my nose is pretty big and i feel tooo self cociouse and im afraid that my crush wnt like me for my nose or my lack or confidence but sometimes he talks to me and we kauch but he knows i like him!!!

Wall Street Journal ran an article about how the Chinese government is trying to ensure that their signs are in proper English before the Olympics.

Examples- "Dongda Hospital for Anus and Intestine Disease Beijing" has become "Hospital of Proctology". A sign for handicapped reads "Deformed person". "To take notice of safe:The slippery are very crafty" has become "Be careful. Slippery."

Does any one know of other mistranslated signs from China or from other countries?

What would be the positives/negatives of a tax system in which Americans were able to determine the individual policies/programs their tax dollars would support? For example, after it was determined how much tax you owed, you could then fill out a sheet stating which programs those tax dollars would fund. Therefore, if someone was against the Iraq War, they could decide to not fund it, if someone was against a particular social program, they could decide to not fund it. If a person did not want to take the time to do this, they could leave it blank and Congress could allocate the money. I realize this could cause some programs to be "underfunded" and others "overfunded", but wouldn't that mean that citizens were letting their voices be heard regarding what they want their government to do for them? Additionally, this is in no way changing how much people pay, it is simply saying that citizens say where it goes, instead only voting every couple years for other people who then decide.

We just got a new 10g tank with 7 fish. The water keeps getting cloudy and I can't figure out why. We asked at the pet store and they recommended something caled cycle every other day but it doesn't seem to be helping. Can anyone give me some good advice?

I dont know what to think?
My boyfriend is 26 hes a 1st LT we have been talking about getting married because he might be getting stationed in Germany! So when we were in the midwestat Christmas with his family he said we will go to the court house if I get the job because I wont go without you. But now it looks like he is going to be getting the job and it stresses me out and scares me cause he will be gone for 2 years. When he told me I stayed strong and I was kidding and I said you cant go without me and he said well you cant go.
