by tennis shoes, i mean: Shoes that you wear on when playing the actual game of TENNIS on a hard court.

well i can't reccomend a shoe for you, because i have only ever had pronated feet, but I can tell you all of the top brands. I have played tennis for 10 years, all in K-swiss

I have always used K-Swiss generally accepted as best tennis shoe brand.
Babolat has much improved their shoes (modelled them on K-Swiss), and has the only hard-court specialist shoe i know of team roddick
I would not use any other brand of tennis shoes.
Adidas has also improved their baricades dramatically.
hope this helps :-)

New Balance has a great web site that has an on line forum for shoe fit as well as specialized applications.

These are good for running AND playing tennis =)

They also have a discount web site store (which is independently owned that offers great support as well).

The are one of the only manufacturers, moving their production back into the States, and out of the third world environment.

Nike is also a very good brand!

I run, and am in training yet again for a marathon after a two year layoff... I was injured on a run, and had to quit.
