I think good for you for stepping out of the box. Im white and date a guy thats not. Big no no from where I come from but Im the one that talks to him and has to live with him so it should only be what I think and not anyone else. If he makes you happy and is a good guy then so what if the friend doesn't like it. If she was really a good friend then she would give her opinion then step back and let you do what you want.

nothing I hope they are in love and have a healthy relationship and hope that live some where that people don't care because it can be hard if they don't live some where that people acctect them it can be hardest on the kids. I have a 1/2 sister who married a black man and had two wonderful kids(one girl and one boy) when she told our dad about this he was very happy because he never had a son but after she sent him pictures of her kids our dad cut her off. I don't understand that, but I also don't understand how i was rasied either I was not allowed to watch TV, read books, or listen to music that non-white people made.(I was born in 1981) For fact my father's mother hard time my mother who is Italian/ Native American so she has dark olive skin and brown hair and black/brown hair and me because I was her child even thought I am white as my father blond hair with baby blue eyes. I've lived and felt it and personally reject that kind of thinking. Never understand it.

Who cares what your friend thinks - you aint dating her.
Being a hispanic guy in love with a white girl... I havent an issue with biracial couples.

First of all , its called interracial couples...and there is nothing wrong with being in an interracial relationship. i have been in one snce 1992, and we are married with 3 beautiful children. They are the same as any other couple, you do get the "looks and stares" but we just ignore it. If he treats you right, go for it!!!

Hey if it works for you go for it... but "mixed" couples have a lot of trouble in society, even these days. Because of just the thing you talk about, you have to determine if he's worth the hassle.
