hi, i was wondering, what is the best way to come to a stop in a manual transmission. should i just throw it in neutral, or should i downshift through each gear. my friend drives a manual 94 camry and he just throws it in neutral whenever he slows down, whether its for a stop light or a regular turn. he drives it so lazily. i feel a manual should be driving with more excitement. lol. anyway, i hate that he just throws it in neutral, it just looks boring. ill hopefully be getting my 91 accord (manual) in May so ill able to drive the way i like. but which way is more practical and which is more fun. i like fun.

For some reason, I just cannot get this problem. Well, here is the scenario:

A 20kg block is placed on a ramp of 22degrees. The block has been shot at a speed of 3 m/s from the bottom of the ramp. Assuming that the ramp is frictionless, how far up will the block go? And how long will it take for the block to return back to the "shooting" point?

My boss told (well, no he hinted big time) that he wants me to wear heels to our trade shows. The only thing is I stand for around 9 hours a day and I can't figure out how heels would be comfortable. I want to know why it's called soup?

The theory is that "it rained on the rocks for millions of years and turned them into soup"!

When I mix rock dust and rain I get mud.

Shouldn't it say "It rained on the rocks for millions of years and turned them into mud pies"?

It makes more sense, doesn't it? It's a heck of alot more accurate.

Plus, it would be easier to remember for exams. You have M.U.D.= Man Under Development.
