I have an iPod shuffle, and have had a few problems with it lately. I found out about the recent problems in general, got the Shuffle patch, updated iTunes, all good.

Today...I plugged it in, and it started disappearing from the device list, with a message about improper device removal (though I hadn't removed it at all), then reappearing and doing this over and over again. I attempted to force-quit iTunes, and now...the triangle on my dock still shows it as being on, and when I click it, nothing happens. I tried it in my Recent Items menu, and got a message saying "iTunes.app cannot be launched. -600".

Anyone have any clue? Like I said, last time I plugged the iPod in, about five or six days ago...I updated everything AND re-synced it. Nothing has changed since then...

Mac 10.4.7, iTunes 7.0.2 with Shuffle patch.

how can i use backup files?

for example, i have a hard disk.

it has two partitions, c and d.

if drive c will be corrupted or formatted, and i have the backup file for the selected important files in drive c at drive d, can i recover those important fiels using the backup file?

A man walks into a bar and sits down and orders a drink. He then notices a jar that is
full of money. The man asks the bartender what the jar is for.
The bartender then says that he has a donkey in the back room and "if anyone can make
him him laugh they win the money. If not they owe me 100 dollars."

The man says, "I can do it!" So he goes into the back room and about 5 minutes
later the bartender hears the donkey laughing out loud. The man walks out and takes
the money from the jar, thanks the bartender, and leaves.

About a month later the man comes back into the bar and there is a new jar of money.
The man asks the bartender what the new jar of money is for.

The bartender looks at the man and says, "if you can make the donkey cry
the money is yours, if not you owe me 100 dollars." The man says, "ok I'll do it!"

He walks into the back room and about 2 minutes goes by when the bartender hears
the donkey crying. The man walks out and grabs the money out of the jar, but before the
man leaves the bartender asks, "How did you make the donkey laugh?"

The man looks at the bartender and says, "Well the first time I told the donkey that
I had a bigger pecker then he did".

"How did you make him cry?" asks the bartender?
"Well I showed him."

i have been together with a guy for 3 month now.
and i'm tierd of him. all he wants is the physical side, i want some content as well. we don't have much i commomn, shared interest and conversation topics. i feel it's hard to tell him how i feel many times and i think he finds it hard telling me wht he wants sometimes. i just don't think we belong together and i should look for someone who suits me better.
