ok all of the sudden ( i dont remember doing anything to strain it at all) my knee hurts the surrounding area of my kneecap. and it also hurts behind my knee on the back of my leg. whenevr i excerise it hurts and when i sit criss-cross it starts to hurts. what is wrong with my knee?i dont want to see a dr. because im scared ill need surgery. I'm having a lot of trouble with this. i get 1/x+y(1+dy/dx)=
I don't get how to differentiate the right side. In an example in my book they used 2^2/x and set the exponent to u making it u=2x^-1 and found du/dx= -2x^-2 or -2/x^2. and then plugged into the original problem you get -2e^(2/x)/x^2. i put the paranthesis there so it doesn't get confusing. so if anyone can help me get the right side im sure i'll be able to solve this problem. thanks again =D

Somehow I inherited a few dozen of classic books like Great Expectations, Alice in Wonderland, King Solomon's Mines etc. I have boys who are great readers. Are the book rewritten for the Great Illustrated Classics series so watered down that they're not worth reading?

I seem to recall a debate in philosophy or perhaps between to philosophers one who believed that someone only gives because he gets something in return (ie satisfaction, admiration, etc) versus the ability for someone to give, just for the sake of giving, expecting nothing in return and without selfish motive...sound familiar to anyone?
