I am almost done with my MA in international relations and wanted to go on and get a phd in political science. Schools list gpa's for undergrad students looking for a phd, but is it different for students that are coming out of grad school with a MA? Do schools still want to look at undergrad grades, or only focus on grad school work? Also, are master's students given a preference over undergrad students in the admissions process since they already took some grad classes? If anyone has gone from a MA to PhD I would be glad to hear your opinons, thanks.

I've had mental retardation since the day I was born. People been saying I will never be able to take of myself for the rest of my life and I would always need a guardian over me to take of me. I'm 21 years old, male. I'm worried about the future. Some people say since I have mental retardation, in the near future I would have to stay in group homes for the rest of life. I stay with my aunt in Augusta, Ga. I just need some encouragement and can y'all guys find me a scripture to encourage me about mental retardation. I just want God to heal my mind from mental illness.I also desire to live on my own. Please help me What should I do?

I have a concern, Yahoo ran a piece last week telling how many millenia ago the earth was bombarded with rays from the milky way. These rays destoyed life and accelerated it as well as produced a plethora of bacteria killing and mutating animal growth. The milky way hasnt been able to introduce the rays for a while but on December 21st 2012, the earth is in the path and will be bombarded with these rays. I calculated this through astronomy. But when i type in the date on the net, the date comes up with a Mayan end date of the world/new beginning on December 21st 2012. My question is, What will happen to earth/people when we get bombarded with the rays????
the Mayans predicted this thousands of years ago???I have a phd in physics but I would appreciate knowledge from someone in bacterial research on the milky way. I would also like to know why the government has built underground facilities that block a nuclear warhead but also are impervious to bacteria and viral outbreaks??
