how do you build a child's fort?

My son wants to know how to make one and i dont know how to.

This would depend on the complexity of your fort. Were its going to be located (tree or ground, etc.) My boyfriend has built several and if you wish you can contact him at [e-mail] and he can give to you all the information that you need as well as desinging a plan for you so that you can follow a set of directions and what not. The first step is to make a plan and follow through with it. Best construstion materials would be pine as it is inexpensive, nails are ok but tend to work them selves out after a while. Screws are the best. Any other ideas would depend upon where it is going to be built at.

As for going out and buying something prebuilt, BOOOO take the time and build it yourself with your childrens help. They will appreciate it even more because you took the time out of your schedule to make time for THEM and not jsut going and buying some cheaply made garbage.

Here is a castle made big enough for a child to open the doors and fit into it. They get the magic markers to color it any way they want. They get two crowns and lots of stuff.

I saw this on tv, but my daughter is now 17, but I wish it was there when she was little. It looks like they can spend hours with the coloring of the castle whatever design they want, with putting glitter and things to make it so special.
