Sorry - I had not seen your earlier question! But to answer it, I think that thanks to the media who tries to divide and sensationalize, I don't know how we can ever be truly united again. Sadly, it took 9/11 to unite people, and that was for such a short time...I would love for our country to be united again. But it will take something that few people seem to have anymore - a willingness to disagree and respect for the opinions of others. Unity does not mean everyone has to agree. It just means that we all recognize that everyone wants what is best for our country even if we have different visions of how we should get there.

The enemy is out there, people. Not in here. I do believe that United We Stand, Divided We Fall, but sadly, we are falling.

Sorry I was away from the computer when you posted the question before. I think there are so many Americans who are working so hard and just trying to raise their families that they dont realize how bad illegal immigration has became, the consequences it is causeing,or how much worse it will get if they are not stopped,I am doing all I can to spread the word.I have only recently gotten involved myself. But United We Stand!!!! And God bless America!!!!

I don't know what your question was, in my opinion this country is not the same as it was in the past, most of the younger people are only concerned about themselves, not like at the beginning of WW2, when the whole country pulled together and fought our common enemies.
I am 72, and believe me we are not the country we used to be, and I fear we will never regain that type of inspiration.

I missed your question, I was out collecting signatures for a Petition against illegal alien's, to be sent to my Congressmen/women, and wasn't on the computer. You want it for your city? Email me and you shall have it. Send me your primary email address, because Yahoo Answers will not allow as many characters as the petition has.
United We Stand, Divided We Fall! Join with me and other American's to STOP the illegal alien INVASION, and criminal activity, NOW! Thank you very much!

Ignorance is truly a state of bliss. However, Nero fiddled while Rome burned. So in effect it can be hazardous to ones health.

Just because people chose to ignore you question was showing what true Americans they were. The right of free speech and choice.
