In the first place, this assumes that non-abortion of unwanted babies leads to abuse. Statistics show just the opposite. Child abuse cases have actually increased as the number of abortions has gone up. Apparently, the disregard for human life reflected in the acceptance of abortion is extended from the prebirth to the postbirth attitude toward offspring.

Second, the objection assumes wrongly that abortion is not in and of itself a real abuse. Actually, abortion is one of the worst abuses that can possible be inflicted on a human being. The abortion process itself is horribly abusive. One common process tears the tissue of the tiny, defenseless unborn into pieces, by violent suction; these pieces are then thrown into the garbage can. The D&C method of abortion uses a sharp instrument to chop the little baby into pieces; it is then scrapped from the womb and trashed. The saline method replaces the amniotic fluid surrounding the baby with salt water; the brine into which the baby is immersed then eats it skin off, and when the baby inhales this salt water, it burns up from the inside out. This process can scarcely be called "responsible parenthood," as pro-abortionists describe it.

For me, I think it is passing yardage, because you throw the football and then make it a completion and that's how make yards. Every time I go to NFL website to check the passing leaders, it goes by passer rating.

I think the passing title should go by most yards instead of passer rating.

My kitchen flooded 5 mnths ago and I'm having a problem finding a contractor that I can afford and won't jerk me around. I'm just curious as too how much I should expect to pay for a contractor to put in new cabinets and countertops, alittle plumbing work, and laying down a new floor?

I know I said I loved you
But I've changed my mind
After receiving that unexpected call
I had no choice but to leave you behind
These rekindled feelings
Have ignited a flair
You have a special place in my heart
But you could never compare
I miss her glowing smiles
Her whispers and moans
So if you don’t see me tonight
You’ll know which path I’ve chosen
I wish you the best
With whatever you do
It’s time that I move on
And I’m afraid it won’t be with you

I do not believe he is doing anything wrong and he does take me with to this same local bar usually on Friday nights for a bit. If he frequents this bar anytime he is not with me--should I be concerned?? Is he an alcoholic?? And then he lies to be about how long he was there?? This does not sit well with me....should I confront him....or just leave it alone...and chalk it up to this is just the way he is ---aceept it or move on....Your advise please?

For some people it may be as easy as turning on the radio...I, however, lost my hearing 6 years ago. It feels like I have been in Deep Analysis ever since: distractions are hard to come by. I over think EVERYTHING and I'm getting on my own nerves! Exercise is the only time I'm able to kind of zone out, but there are only so many miles you can jog in a day :)

We know that some people get fat much easier than others, even they eat the same amount of food and have the same lifestyle. The reason why some people are fatter than others is that our ancestors live in an environment where food supply is very limited and unstable (such as due to cold weather). Their bodies evolved so that excess nutrition is stored as fat, as a survival tool. Now there isn’t such a need for this function so a lot of people has evolved to adapt to the new environment which their bodies do not store excess fat. The conclusion is therefore, fat people evolve slower than thin people.
