Some people have it worse than others. My dad knew someone whose wife had really bad PMT; she's knocked a man out with one those steering wheel lock things before, she even went at my Dad's friend with a knife. But, it's just a case of going to the doctor and getting pills for it, which many women could do.

I don't think I have bad PMT, just the normal rubbish, and even then it's the same stuff that annoys me everyday. And it isn' just called PMS, to the people who keep saying it is, it is also called PMT, which stands for Pre-Menstrual Tension.

Maybe you should tell your girlfriend to see a doctor or something, if you're being serious of course.

PMT is monthly, and she should consider taking vitamin supplements like Vitamin B complex and Evening Primrose Oil capsules.

It is also greatly appreciated, and I know that many women will agree with this, if the man in the relationship is considerate towards the woman while she's having her period - offers of tea, chocolate, ibobrufen or other painkiller drugs (legal ones I mean), hugs, backrugs, favourite DVDs and steak are greatly appreciated in general, even if the reaction you get at the time is 'feck off'. See, what's happening inside the woman is this: the lining is coming away from the uterus (and sometimes this happens in adjacent organs also, a condition known as endometriosis which only magnifies the pain) which is painful enough in itself, then nature kicks in and has the same uterus expanding and contracting to loosen all this stuff, and all this causes those cramps, and there's also the fluid retention ... and you are undoubtedly familiar with the hormonal moodiness.

Maybe shes just a bit*h! Sorry to say it coz but some women are just unplesant, selfish, moody cows...they blame PMT, when really PMT only really lasts for a couple of days out of the month.

Sounds like you blame every bad mood on her pmt, have you considered asking your self if this relationship is really what you want? Talk to her find out whats wrong if it is just hormones she needs a doctor and a blood test and you can help by buying her 3 months worth of starflower capsules they only kick in after 3 months so if it works yipee if not get a new girlfriend

Does she?

How do YOU know she has PMT and that it's not something else?

Maybe she has a medical condition and needs medical help then!

You obviously 'care enough' to supply sufficiently detail here for answers to be given.... though I hope you don't care for anyone I know.

I wish her the Very Best of Luck (in finding someone who really does Care - at least)
Sash.

Basically... and i'm sure you'll say 'duh'... but here it is for you. plain and simple. It has to do with hormone levels. Oestrogen is higher in women than in men. Testosterone... higher in men than women. The higher the oestrogen levels... the more needy, whiny, nagging, classic PMT, the woman will be. more testosterone in a woman, brings her PMT levels down and makes her more... stable. lol. ok. so. if your woman is PMT 24/7/365.... its beacause she is high oestrogenic. not her fault. you have a few options. you could leave her and find someone less high oestrogenic... or you could feed her more teststerone foods... eg... red meats... or you could leave her... or you could put up with it. weigh up whether she is worth it or not. Dont get me wrong. More testosterone will not turn her into a man... it will just counter the effects of the high high oestrogen levels. women with higher testosterone levels are the ones that tend to be more level headed. more likely to be easier to get along with. clear, logical thinkers and usually friends with more men and more low oestrogenic women. i have a few high oestrogenic female friends and all i ever hear from them is my bf this my bf that and honestly... its usually something like... ''he hasnt called me today,(when its only 9am), i think he's neglecting me. why doesnt he care about me. am i getting fat is that what it is? he thinks i'm fat? (then it turns to anger) well he isnt exactly the thinnest or most beautiful thing himself now is he...'' etc. very emotionally high maintenance women.... like i said. feed her lots of testosterone filled foods... research those... but only if you are prepared to put up with this. that girl i mentioned has been in this relationship for 19 months and its always the same. her bf is my bfs best mate... and he is in constant torment... but he thinks she is worth it. so you have to decide if its worth it. cos she is very unlikely to change.

PMT stands for pre-menstrual tension, it's just another way of saying PMS. Is she on the pill? cos this can affect your mood quite seriously or maybe it's just the way she is.
