OK, fifteen or twenty years ago, Jack in the Box was almost closed down for killing children. The reason was because they (the coorperat owners) decided they coudl save lots of money by keeping the grill temps lower than what is legally required, and of course ecoli disease is active at those temporatures, so they paid thier fines, and are now a huge chain again. why are they still in business? I know they have changed their grill temps, but shouldn't they be out of business permanentlly for killing kids intentionally? I am older, and I knew a manager that said that it wouldn't hurt anyone. I'm also a professional chef, and knew it could. A new coorperation took them over, but I'd never buy from Jack in the Box, I don't get it, why do other people?
