Or where was "He" when those lunatics kidnapped the planes on 9/11... thousands of good innocent people suffer heart/brain strokes every year... wasn't that a good time for "Him" to send a stroke to those crazy mother f******?
I'm just gonna sit and relax reading the surely very imaginative answers from the religious people that still believe that there is a "God" taking care of them...

To the Romans, all religions were equally true.
To the philosophers, all religions were equally false.
To the politicians, all religions were equally useful.

Does this sound familiar? Our politicians keep pulling God and religion into politics. President George W. Bush’s mangling of the wall separating state and church is well documented. In 1954, when President Eisenhower signed the bill adding “under God” to the Pledge of Allegiance (and ironically removing “indivisible”), his words explicitly showed that the idea was to link religiosity and patriotism. In 1988 President Reagan established the National Day of Prayer. On March 27, 2003, House Resolution 153 passed by an overwhelming vote. It urges the President to issue a proclamation “designating a day for humility, prayer, and fasting for all people of the United States.” We are “to seek guidance from God to achieve a greater understanding of our own failings,” and “to gain resolve in meeting the challenges that confront our nation.” The Senate unanimously passed a similar bill. These government actions violate the spirit, if not the letter, of the First Amendment. I say that we are becoming a de facto theocracy.

Studying St. Pauls journeys and the large amount of people on the ship that wrecked off Malta it seems that the ship must have been an Egyptian grain ship. I haven't been able to locate a good drawing of one.

My best friend just moved away. I keep on trying to contact her, by e-mail, and she won't anwser.
I call her, and when her dad anwser's, he puts her on the phone and then she hangs up laughing. I don't know why she could be mad at me, but I'm really getting restless trying to contact her and find out what's what.
Ps: I didn't know where else to put this.

Napalming of Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto - although there was factories in all of these cities, there was a very dense civilian population. Casualties for civilians were roughly 80,000 people for Tokyo alone. All burned to death.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki - conservatively estimates say a total of 100,000 people died. And although there were military bases here, was it still justified? Imagine attacking Los Angeles or San Diego to destroy military installations containing 5000-7000 military personnel at most.

Although we justify these attacks through Pearl Harbor, Pearl Harbor was a military target. Only 2,403 American servicemen and 68 civilians were killed.

I really don’t want to bring up Vietnam or Iraq.

We prosecute war criminals of other countries, but why don’t we hold ourselves to the standard we set? Doesn’t this damage out nation’s image?

I live in Fl with my fiance. We've been engaged for 2 years, & were dating for 6 years before that. We've been living together since I was 16. My point is that we're in a steady, happy, healthy, long-term relationship. The problem is that he's always lived here, & I'm native to Ma. I've hated Fl since the day I moved here, & he loves it. He's the only thing keeping me here. It seems like lately the longer I'm here, the more homesick I get. I've been out of school for a while, & I'd really like to go back now. I've been considering possibly going to school in Boston. He's a little upset but supports me and understands why I want to go. I think that if I'm able to go to school there & just spend that time in New England that it'll cure my homesickness (at least for another few years) and I can come back down to Florida when I'm done & be happy again for a while. I was just wondering if anyone else has done the long-distance thing & could share their experience with me. Thanks
