I have recently filed for a divorce. My husband will not stop emailing me! He oftens says that he will "win this fight", I will be the one to lose in the long run, and other offensive things of this nature. I am scared he will try to do something to me or my daughter. My attorney has informed his attorney of his actions and requested that it be stopped. Is their anything that I could do in order to stop this. Am I entitled to get a restraining order or is there not enough "hard" evidence of a threat? Also could I file an aggravated harassment charge against him? Thank you so much.

I am working 2 full time jobs right now. I don't sit down at all, only on breaks. can standing for 16 hours a day hurt my health?

I feel homosexuals so be respected as much as heterosexual (I'm heterosexual myself).

but what do we do now? we are both divorced - both intelligent, attractive, with similar interests pursuing the same degree program - we always laugh together and share the same biting humor - he backed off as soon as his divorce was finalized - so i did too.... should i just wait 4 him to make a move? help - i though this stuff ended when i was done being a teenager!!!

I am an employee of a small town police department.. Of course our department is governed by the City itself. The City consists of Water Office, City Office Staff, City Waterworks and roads, Fire Department, and Police Department. For over a year now, Our( police) budget keeps getting cut lower and lower, our overtime, supplies, etc but all other departments are gaining money. Our cars are in awful shape and we even lost 2 to sale but Waterworks Department has gotten new equipment, etc every year. Alot more things have been taken away from us and cut but too numerous to mention. Oour Cheif feels it is because the Mayor wants him to retire but.... Is this legal for the City to do to us.. Do we have any rights and how can we fight it?
