When does the Champions League start and is Ac Milan going to play?

Well, the third qualifying round will take place on Aug. 8th, 9th, 22nd and 23rd.

Group Stage matchdays are Sept. 12th/13th, 26th/27th, Oct. 17th/18th, Oct. 31/Nov. 1st, Nov. 21st/22nd, and Dec.5th/6th

Round of 16 will be played on Feb. 20th/21st and March 6th/7th (2007 obviously!)

Quarterfinals will be played April 3rd/4th and 10th/11th

Semifinals on April 24th/25th and May 1st/2nd

Final on May 23rd

As far as AC Milan "Originally, AC Milan were barred from the Champions League, but were restored to the competition on appeal, although they will now have to survive a third-round tie instead of directly entering the group stage. Milan will now face a verdict on August 2nd, to see wether they or France's R.C. Lens shall play against Cork City or FK Crvena Zvezda, in the UEFA Champions League 3rd Qualifying Round on August 8th and 23rd."

It's August 2nd and we're waiting on a verdict!!

the UEFA Champions' League Group Stage proper will began on Tuesday, 12 September 2006. at the moment, the qualifying rounds of the Champions' League is still underway & all 32 teams in the Champions' League will be known on Wednesday, 23 August 2006.

the draw for the UEFA Champions' League Group Stage proper will be conducted by UEFA on Thursday, 24 August 2006, 18:00 CET in Monaco, France.

AC Milan's verdict is still undecided at the moment whether they are allowed to be included in the competition but UEFA will made their decision today.

if their appeal is successful, they will enter the competition in the third round qualifying match-up against either Cork City FC (REPUBLIC OF IRELAND) or Crvena Zvezda (SERBIA). AC Milan will host the first match of the third round qualifying.

after all the qualifying rounds about september or october. AC milan are going through the qualifying rounds but i seriously think that the punishment is bias. among the 4 clubs being punished, ac was punished the lightest n yet they are the biggest culprit. juz look at their track record and u will know
