I'm going on a 2-day visit to London, on the train. Can you get an Oyster card just for 2 days, or is there a cheaper way to see the sights?

On Thurday I arrive in London at about 6pm. I can get the train to Waterloo or coach to Victoria coach station.

I am attending a party at the building of Holland and Holland (Bruton Road- or street), postcode W1J 6HH. Would I be better off on the coach or train, and how far is either from Holland and Holland's address? Walking distance, taxi or tube? How long would the jouney take and, if by taxi, roughly how much?

Thanks very much in advance.

I'm going to go to London for the weekend.

Is there a travel card that I can get so that I can travel on the tube and buses all weekend?

If so, how much does it cost?

Thanks!

I will go to London in the next week, and this is my first time to be there, but only for one day. So, that means this day is very important for me. I have found plenty of spots that I want to see, and I know that is not possible.could you please give me some suggestions about what should I see, and how should I organise the day?

Does the Tube run frequently on 26 December? Does anyone know where I can check to see schedule availability? I'm an American with a flight leaving at 7:30 from Heathrow, so the latest I can be there, I estimate, is 6:45. I'm staying in Oxford Circus (that's my nearest station). Any suggestions that don't involve shelling out about 50 Pounds for two people?
