obvious pros and cons are if I go alone, I get to do what I want, when I want and choose, so there is greater freedom. If I go with someone else we share the experience, the costs and also the limitations that come with compromise and negotiation, etc. I've thought it through and still find myself on the fence, so I am putting it out there for some feedback.

I keep onhearing there are gigantic man eating fish in Shasta Lake.. that people who worked on the dam saw these gigantic fish!

I am living in an extended stay hotel. I have done a one month contract for a reduced rate of $30 per night. If I leave two days early will they charge me the diff for all the nights which would be about 250 for my duration of stay($10 extra per night) or I could work my way around and save myself the money?

I went to Arctic Circle last August. Hundreds of miles of tundra plain where literally NO trees grow and NO human being resides. It was truly awesome place to visit.

Looking for pics taken of couple on motorcycle w/ 2 kids in 1959. Have you seen any like this?
In the summer of 1959 my husband and I took a motorcycle trip from Salt Lake City, UT to Camp Verde, AZ with our 2 sons. Yeah, I know, stupid! But we had no other way to make the trip. At that time I guess it was no big deal because we saw many policemen & were never stopped. In fact they wished us a safe trip. Along the way, many people took pictures and movies of us. Some even got our address and promised they would send us copies of the pictures, but we never received any. I wrote a story about our trip, but don't have any pictures to go with it. Has anyone ever seen any pictures of us? There was my husband and I, with our 1 1/2 yr. old son sitting in front of my husband on the tank. Our 6 mos. old son was on a cradle board on my husband's back, with me sitting behind my husband. Would love to have the photos taken of us to go with my story. Someone has these pictures out there, unless they were thrown away. If you've seen pictures like this, please reply. Thanks!

i am really not that well off this year... i know that sounds mad but i started working with adults with severe learning difficulties last year and its the best job in the world!! but i sacrificed a good wage for a good job... my rent was not too bad so i thought i might as well do something that makes me happy! only whenever i want to go on holiday i can never afford it! i dont want anyone to pay for my holiday but just thought i would ask if anyone has a spare caravan or annex i could use at the end of the summer??? i live in the scottish highlands and if you wish to come here that would be no problem!! (just bring your winter warmers)

I'm trying to plan a trip for the fall. I was thinking about going to the Galapogos Islands on one of those little cruise/tour boats for 10 days, or maybe to Greece where my friend has a home on the island of Andros.

I've never been to either. Any suggestions? Right now, my thought is that Greece will always be there, so maybe I should enjoy the Galapagos now- before it gets trampled by too many tourists.
