It seems every country has its own distinct siren for its emergency vehicles. Where was the weirdest one you ever heard?
I myself find the siren on Amsterdam's ambulances unusual.

When travelling in Europe I noticed many american people displaying a canadian flag on their luggages/hats/body,etc.
If they are proud of their country why don't they show?

I'm looking for a good place to go in late August or late December, preferably all-inclusive and adults only. I was thinking possibly somewhere in the Caribbean...is this a good place to go at those times of the year? Or any other suggestions for those specific times of year - like not someplace when it's hurricane season!

I don't want to deal with international travel.

Hi. I am going to get married next summer and i am trying to decide where i want to go for my honeymoon. I can either go to Maui, Hawaii and stay at the Four Seasons Hotel. Or i can go to St. Lucia and stay at an All - Inclusive Sandals Resort. They both sound good to me therefore i cant decide which one would be best. If you have been to a Sandals Resort please tell me how you liked the experience and which one of the resorts you stayed at. I have heard both good and bad things about the Sandals Resorts. If you have been to a sandals resort would you recommend it for a honeymoon? Or would you recommend somewhere else that i probably havent even thought of? I really appreciate all of your advice!!

Do you think that if a person purchases Travel Insurance and another doesn't should they get the same treatment as far as cancel penalties are concerned?

All vendors have cancel/interuption penalties. They just vary depending on the company on how strict they are. Years ago companies tended to be more lienient and feel for one who say had to cancel due to a car accident prior or had to come home early for a funeral for example. However now most of them now aren't feeling sympathetic at least when it comes towards money back. There were to many complaints of "Hey I bought Insurance for X amount, why do they get the same treatment and didn't spend that additional money for Insurance?

I have to agree. If I spent $200.00 bucks(for example)on Insurance and someone else didn't at all, but yet they were fully remebursed I would be upset! How about you?

Question is prompted because of a client of mine who had to come home early due to her Mothers death.

I hate traveling and my parents love it, we have a motor home and to my joy rarely use it, I get SO homesick even if I'm away for a week, I just seem to miss my everyday routine, seeing my friends and such, does anyone ever feel the same, I just LOVE routine!!!

I found these links provided by one of the answerers.I visited them and found it to be amazingly beautiful.I thought wikipedia is the only website showing nice pics of Iran, but I was wrong!
