You have described Texas in the summer. It is hotter than Hades, and I don't even live in the humid part. I often tell my husband that if you leave the cows in the field too long they'll turn into beef jerkey. It can be downright miserable here sometimes. We normally have at least 40 or more days over 100 degrees every year.

Luxor, Egypt.
It was well over 40 celsius all day and night
It was so hot that the tar on the streest was melting!!
When I sat down on a leather chair for 5 minutes (and inside a hall), I left a huge puddle of sweat on the seat.

one night in particular in cavalino italy near venice,was dripping with all the tent windows open and sheets thrown back .......it was not nice and had to take 2 maybe 3 showers during the night...
