I don't know about any french cuisine and pastry...

but if you are ever hungry for a good meal, try the Sea Galley, it's awesome.

Anchorage is a well sized town so that you wont' want plenty of survival apparatus if you are going to stick there. Depending on what time of yr you cross you'll be able to have got to get dressed in layers. A rainjacket is consistently major due to the fact of the unpredictable climate. If you cross mountain climbing off the crushed direction get well mountain climbing boots. Have a laugh!
