Where should I go?

my kids get back from camp in august and don't start school til september so I want to take them somewhere before school starts

Depending on the childrens ages and where you are located I would suggest Boston or Washington DC. Educational for the kids but with plenty of fun things to do too and plus in Sept. the weathers nice in both locations.

Take them on day trips to a waterpark etc!
