I'd live in France. Probably somewhere near Paris but not really in the city. I'd to relax from the busy city that it is. I'd love to be in France because everyday would seem as though I were living in a huge artwork. Everyday would be an inspiration.

I have just dealt with this question, and for me, it came down to an answer tree. Do you want to live in a big city or not? Where do you feel comfortable, close to home or adventuring around the world? What do you do for a living (very important)? What do you like to do, and what do you value about where you live?
I like big cities. I like having cultural options around me, museums and the like. I enjoy multicultural life, ethnic foods, all kinds of celebrations and just the variety of viewpoints that it engenders. So, I looked at the biggest cities in the world: New York, Chicago, London, Berlin, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Paris, Rome, Bejing. Coming from Texas, and not speaking any eastern languages, I thought, maybe later for Asia. But I like Europe tremendously, all of it. So, Berlin, Paris, Rome, Madrid, The Netherlands where to go?
For me, it was Paris. A truly global city, an artistic city full of dreamers (for good and bad ;-) and a city with real history. The future for Paris looks good too. It will always be a destination city for tourists, and business too. No matter what the problems of the day in France, Paris will survive. There are Parisians and New Yorkers and Londoners, but I am a Parisian, just not lucky enough to be born there.
But for anyone else, do what I did, travel. Figure out what you want to do with your life, from now on. I am going to law school at 37, and doing it partially in France. I will be 41 when I am done, and I will be living and working in Paris. It is never too late, or too early, to do what you want. In today's world, you can live anywhere you want, if you jump through the right hoops. So live the life you always wanted, live where you want.

Honestly, I would live right where I am. I am within 2 hours of a major metropolitan area but the town I live in is a small city. The people are great and the landscape is gorgeous. Now if only the property value weren't quite so high.

I'd probably stay in Arizona, but go to a small town or city rather than a big one. We have warm winters, less storms than most other states, and a lot of georgeous scenery.

I live in the US and it is the greatest country in the world.....however, I am sick of the east coast and since I am court ordered to stay within a 75 mile radius (divorce/kids/ex-husband....blah, blah, blah) I must wait until they are emancipated.....then I'm out of NY

I would live in Hawaii because the people are so kind and happy and the atmosphere is fantastic. Not to mention the beautiful beaches and views. I would love to live there.
