Double bedding (or a double bed) means one big bed that can accommodate up to two persons. It doesn't necessarily mean Queen-size automatically, or King Size. You'll have to ask the hotel. Don't worry though because this bed is definitely bigger than a single bed.
You can compare it to 'twin bedding', meaning two separate beds for two persons. A bed here can either be a single -size bed, a queen size bed, or a king size bed. The point is, there are two separate beds.

hotels have different definitions of a double room but the most common is the one with bed good for 2...it may be a queen size bed or a double bed (smaller than queens size bed). for some hotels, a double bed room is a room with two queen size beds which can accomodate 4 persons. better check first before you book. =)

King length beds are spectacular by way of fact they are SO massive, you could spralw out throughout them, and then in case you watch a action picture with somebody else there is a lot of room for 2, yet Queen sixe beds will do too.
