i am a 20 year old american. i have lived in the u.s. for my whole life but i desire to travel/live in latin america. i love the culture and would like to experience life there. i want to know the hardships i would face in trying to live in a country like mexico, argentina, or any of the countries. what would the employment opportunities be for me (i speak english and spanish)? would it even be thinkable to be able to support myself independently in a new country like this? thanks for any information you can help me with.

Who was the Central American (Nicaraguan, I believe) poet whose grave (or tomb) has a beautiful marble statue of a sleeping or dead (?) lion. Where is this persons place of interment: city, church, churchyard, cathedral, cemetery? Who was the scuplptor of the statue and where is that sculptor buried?

On March 29, an American couple in Grenada were robbed at gunpoint in their rental home. A few days prior to the incident the couple had notified the management of a missing light fixture in the unit. At approximately 11:30 a.m. on the day of the burglary, a Nicaraguan male in his late 20s (suspect) appeared at the front gate of the property stating that he was there to replace the light. The victim escorted the individual inside, where they inspected the fixture. The victim then began to escort the suspect outside to retrieve his tools. As they neared the front door, the suspect stopped and displayed what the victim described as a .25 caliber or similar type automatic pistol and demanded money. The suspect took the victim’s wallet, extracted all of the currency and then, at the request of the victim, returned the wallet containing the victim’s identification. The suspect then departed the area on foot.

Why do people call it Latin America, or why is the PC term for central americans "Latin".

Latin was spoken in europe. It was an ancient european language. Never commonly spoken in places like Mexico, Cuba, ect. at any point. So why then?
