Who was the Central American (Nicaraguan, I believe) poet whose grave (or tomb) has a beautiful marble statue of a sleeping or dead (?) lion. Where is this persons place of interment: city, church, churchyard, cathedral, cemetery? Who was the scuplptor of the statue and where is that sculptor buried?

I asked this question in another category about a week ago and got no response.
Penquin: I am 54 years old, know how to do a browser search and have written 8 published ENCYCLOPEDIA articles---I am not a little kid wanting someone to do my homework. I'm simply asking someone who ACTUALLY KNOWS the poet to whom I refer something additional about the poet, in case someone may recall the cathedral but not the guy's name. Did you need two points that badly?

His name is Rubén Darío, he is one of the most influential in the Spanish literature world. He was buried in the city of León; buried under the main alter of the Cathedral of León alongaide another great poet of my country, Alfonso Cortes. Alfonso and Rubén grew up in the same house (at different times). Very intersting history between these two great poets, and the house in which they both spent their childhood years is now a museum. Also, those beautiful statues of Lions are all over León, its their major icon and any Nicaraguan instantly recognizes them as Leóns own.
