It is very rare to see a black person in El Salvador. Though you see more now than few years a go. I was told by my grandma that many many years ago when the slavery of blacks was going on in central America that El Salvador had a leader or president who was against blacks and did not let any black into the country.

Dont listen to everything u read or hear...what if there is 1 black person? U cant rule out one race for an entire country.. Its too many people and almost impossible without a census.

Well first of all El Salvador was against the slave treade unlike other latin american countries like Nicaragua, colombia etc... El Salvador DOESN'T have black people that would be considerered black salvadorians but what you will see in San Salvador is people that are black but are mixed with salvadorian and they either go visit or live there. Most of the black people i met in a recent trip where salvadorian and black or jamaican and salvadorian but they are from the U.S black people not black salvadorians.

You might want to consider Antarctica. Its' actually just off the southern tip of Argentina. The penguins put on a free show daily.

Well, maybe there are, just like there are 5 or 10 blacks in Russia, very few. The other countries with very few black people (less than 1%) are Mexico, Bolivia, Paraguay, Chile and Argentina.

Since there is no Caribbean coast, it probably has fewer than anywhere else in Central America.
Argentina has virtually none.
Chile has virtually none
Paraguay has virtually none
Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia have relatively low numbers.
