Punjab State Electricity Board is ruining a heaven in India. Sir, it’s true. Joginder Nagar (In Himachal Pardesh) is a place where nature & man made a heaven late in 1932, when Col. Batte came here to construct a Hydro Electricity Project- SHANAN POWER HOUSE (A leased venture of P.S.E.B)

A 15000 ft long tunnel is carrying water from a reservoir at BAROT at an altitude of 8000 ft to the Power House.

Electric trolleys WERE running for about 11 km from Shanan Power House to Barot. Now due to lack of funds or staff the way is cut short to 5 KM upto Winch Camp ie hill top. This trak is laid on the slopes of hill with a gradient of 25 -35 degree .The electric trolleys have a new and amazing experience and enjoy the exquisite natural beauty. It takes 5 hour for a to and fro journey.
