You will have to register (first-time only) to see the timetable, fares, routes and availability for trains between two stations
2. http://www.indianrail.gov.in
Here, you can get information on trains between important stations..
If you are in a hurry and want to look up information about key cities and don't want to spend time on registration, use the second site..
However, I suggest that you spend some time on the first site (www.irctc.co.in) to register..once logged in, it will give you very useful information

you will get the timetable on www.irctc.co.in. you will have to login and then you can see the timing,route,fare,availability etc of the train you want to travel in.............
