Many people are going to India to study. Aren't they?

India doesn't have a good educational program because it is still a poor country with a lot of people. India has very smart people who study and work hard.
A lot of people go there to study because it is very cheap (I studied there for 3 years). A lot of Medical students there because of lots of dead bodies or poor people who come for free medical care and sometimes unfortunately end up like lab rats.

Depends on what you'd call "good education". The standard of education is rather high till one is in college. India has a better infrastructure for people intending to pursue sciences. It hasn't begun to take languages and the like seriously. However, some states like Delhi, do provide quality education. Delhi University is possibly the best university in India.

I don't know a lot of people are going, it might be because every thing is so cheep. I don't really think India has that good of education, but i could be wrong. I know a couple people from India, and they are really smart, but i don't know if they were educated in India. I think one was and he's really really smart. My sister (from india) is really really smart to, but that's just genes

i would say . yes.. here the standard of education is high. but i guess its not well organised.
i have met an american guy who has come to bangalore to study medicine.. i met him in my medical college. he is an 18 yr old and his reason for opting india was " in usa medical education starts when they r 22 yrs old.. but here he can almost finish by 22 yrs. " so he can save 4 years!!

Not really. An IIT education may be comparable to a good education in the West though.

India's standard is not upto the west but education is easily available here for the people with resources.

i dont think indian local education is good. but in each country their is IGCE and american diplomas, maybe those kinds are good there.
