Is july a good time to visit southern india? from Goa to Kerala?

I guess July would not be an ideal time to visit the coast. The best time to visit Goa would probably be somewhere around New years' cause virtually every party animal lands up in Goa for the new years' eve bash, which sources say is terrific. Kerela would be awesome somewhere around july-august, during the monsoons. However, if you intend to club the trip, I'd say july's a better option, since a Goa themed party is not typically "Indian".

P.S: Goa isn't southern India.
