I am traveling to Europe later today. I have a 4 1/2 hour layover in Ch. De Gaulle airport. Is that enough time to travel to the center of Paris see the Eiffel tower and get back in time to make my flight? Also would i need to take a taxi, or is the subway system easy to navigate for someone that speaks zero French?

Thanks,
S

I am traveling to Paris for the first time in October and I was wondering if American bathrooms were common to find or if most require "hovering" for lack of a better term. Also, what do the handicapped do in that situation?

Thank you

For our honeymoon, we are traveling to Paris... I don't want to go everywhere the common tourist goes.... I want see the real paris... the paris that locals experience... The clubs and bars, the underground rock venues... the little cafe that no other can compare to... the country side, the castles..etc...

I'm moving to France in the next year. My husband is French, so I'll have the nationality. I really want to get a job with an American company or entity like the embassy (long shot). I have no idea how to really find a job abroad.Monster.com wasn't very helpful. Any ideas?

On each occasion, with an ex partner, we fell out in this city, and yet rather enjoyed each others company elsewhere , like Sorrento. Should I try again and discover something I though I had lost?

We are leaving next week...our room and airfare are already paid for. I am still not sure what we are doing for sure (any suggestions?) but I would like to know if this is enough to be comfortable for the week, ie. eat where we want, shop, nightlife, etc. We were also thinking of a day trip to London, the train fare is $420...taking this into consideration, what do you think? Also, we are staying in the 16th quarter. I don't have much info on it except it's upscale, I think. How far is it from most of the sites? Out of all the Paris tours, any suggestions on the best ones? I would like to do one in the city itself for sure, and perhaps another one somewhere out of the city. Is it better to buy all the tickets now online, or is it ok to buy them when we get there? Thank you!

Please note that the purpose of the trip is 'romantic', so please recommend accordingly :)

I would like to know if anyone has used the ATM machines in France and (may sound like silly) does it give your money back in Euro?

It's always been my dream to visit Paris someday, but I have heard the french are very snooty and that everyone smokes. True or untrue?

I'm considering a trip to Europe to visit family and am trying to plan things out. At the moment, I'm scheduled for about 14 days in Paris. I have some friends that I'll meet at Paris for the duration of my stay there.

Is 14 days too long to stay in Paris?
Are there other cities in France I should consider visiting for day trips or longer?

Thanks
