Paris is a wonderful city for romance. You'll have a wonderful time.
Here's an itinerary for a romantic evening.
Take an evening boat ride along the Seine on the famous Bateaux Mouche. The various sights along the banks are illuminated.
Have dinner at Le Coupe Choux, a reasonably priced and very romantic restaurant in the Latin Quarter. (be sure to make a reservation) Their website is here:http://www.lecoupechou.com/index.php?PHPSESSID=17d8ae5ee71ea0e209cf3313d06d8e58
Go dancing at the Caveau de la Huchette, a great little club, at 5, rue de la Huchette on the left bank. (the music is jazz and swing).
Then have a late night drink at Aux Trois Mailletz 56, rue Galand (just a few blocks from the Huchette address) and ask the piano player to do "As Time Goes By" (he does a good rendition).

Man Ray
34 Rue Marboeuf
Paris, 75008
Telephone: (00 33 1) 5688 3636
Hours:M-S 7pm-2am

A cavernous restaurant-bar full of golden Buddahs, Chinese lanterns and Oriental antiques, this is home from home for the beautiful people - which means you. A former cinema, now part-owned by Johnny Depp and Sean Penn, it's the star-crazy heart of the Champ-Elysees revival. Live early evening jazz in the Mezzanine bar gives way to house and trip-hop later on, but you won't be thinking of the time.
Le Cabaret
2 Place du Palais Royal
Paris, 75001
Telephone: 00 33 1 58 625 625
Hours:Mon - Sat 9pm - 6am

A glamorous North African meets Middle Eastern restaurant-bar designed by the brilliant Jacques Garcia. Hip regulars sip cocktails on soft-cushioned beds set in low-ceiling alcoves; the lace curtains and walls of deep-purple adding to the exotic and sensual mix. Colonial African art and clubby sounds rev up the atmosphere, as does the eye-candy on the dance floor: models, Vogue-reading beauties and boys straight off fashion ad billboards. Cigars can be purchased behind the bar while house drinks include wicked Cosmopolitans and wild Caipirinhas. Be warned that the door policy is as strict as White House security, but there's a pleasing absence of pretentious VIP areas once past the gate.
Buddha Bar
8 Rue Boissy d' Anglais M. Concorde
Paris, 75008
Telephone: 01 53 05 90 00
Hmm… no prizes for guessing what dominates the floor space inside this ultra-cool Parisian imbibery. You might think it’s the Buddha that attracts the oh-so-trendy set here, as it’s always flattering to stand next to someone more rotund, but there’s more to it than that. A popular haunt with drinkers and diners alike, it’s easy to while away the hours here over cocktails or with a dish from their well-balanced menu.
George V Hotel Bar
31 Avenue George V
Paris,
Telephone: + 33 1 49 52 7000
Known as Le Bar amongst the rich and famous who frequent it, the bar of the fabulous and recently revamped Four Season’s property has kept it’s old world charm while adding ‘magnifique’ modern twists to the classic cocktails it has always served. Plush, elegant and refined, its patrons get to lounge in fine leather chairs sipping Champagne specials or fruity Martinis while imagining what life was like in the Belle Epoque. Beautiful mahogany walls are ‘the colour of cognac’, and though the cocktails are tasty, Cognac is what we recommend you order. Salut, garcon!
Restaurants are more difficult to select, and it depends on your budget.
I suggest that you buy before going to Paris , Time Out's guide To Paris , it's excellent, and there they will list you many restaurants and more clubs and bars.
