I have already applied for the export permit from Singapore... Rabbis vaccination has been done. My pet is healthy. Reserved a seat with air france for my dog...
I was told by the lady from the french embassy that once AVA has signed the final document...10-7 days before departure... my dog can enter France. Is this true? Or do I need any import permit from France?

I am going to be flying into Paris, France and then taking the train to Marseille. I have never been to France or taken the rail there. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is there a way to buy your plane ticket and the train ticket at the same time?

I'll be going to France in a couple weeks, and I'm looking for suggestions on footwear. I'd like to wear shoes that are comfortable for walking around/touring, etc. but I'm wondering if flip-flops are considered tacky. (I know not to wear sneakers!) Does anyone know how long it takes to recieve a Schengen Visa from the French Consulate in Los Angeles? I have a Bangladeshi passport and am leaving in a week for the UK. My appointment for the visa is two days prior to my departure date!!! anyone know if the visa is given within the same day as the appointment? thanks!
