France consulate in Los Angeles, Schengen Visa?

Does anyone know how long it takes to recieve a Schengen Visa from the French Consulate in Los Angeles? I have a Bangladeshi passport and am leaving in a week for the UK. My appointment for the visa is two days prior to my departure date!!! anyone know if the visa is given within the same day as the appointment? thanks!

I haven't gone through that particular office before. Take your tickets with you and they will usually accomodate you. With an american passport I have never had to have a visa for France before. However this was before the European union. Good luck with this. I am sure they will work it out for you.
