http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/08/01/bridge.collapse/index.html
This story is so sad. I'm always afraid of bridges like these, because I imagine that it would collapse like this. I wonder why the city didn't reconstuct the bridge if it was in bad condition. I've heard articles state that it was because of the dramatic weather changes, that the cement started to crack. I just hope something like this wouldn't happen to me, or anybody else for that matter!

1-according to new German law which recently passed, if a german citizen wants to marry a Turkish citizen,Turkish citizen has to speak at least the basics of German language. This law is not efficient to any other nations. For example if a German citizen wants to marry a Chinese citizen this law is not valid.

2-Some members of Turkish Parliement speaks more than one language, thats fine but some of them knows Turkish Language as Foreign languge.

Two different events, two different countries, two different subjects, one language

What do you think about those? Please answer.....

Well, my dad was playing basketball with this guy I like, and my dad won the game flawlessly (right in front of me). Would a Turkish guy feel like a coward because of this? Would he be disinterested in me, because he knows my dad is pretty tough and may not approve of him?

I don't understand why my question was deleted. The question was as below. Did I something wrong?

Deleted Question: Anyone from Turkey here?

Question Details: I have been always told that Turkey and Korea have a very good relationship. We Koreans love Turks and I especially would love to visit there one day. Moreover, I am very interested in making a Turk friend if anyone is interested in being my friend. What do you Turks think about Koreans?

First off all, let me assure you that I wouldn't care less if I get a thumbs down, or not. I didn't even know - or wondered - what the levels are for until I reached level 4 .. I don't care if I make points or not, either. Whoever wishes can give me one when ever they fell like it BUT I hate to see them when I answer a touristic question i.e. which beach is the best or what to do in İstanbul. It confuses people who wants to be informed about my country.

I am capable of making 10 different accounts , work on them to get to level 2 or 3 and start voting for myself.

I don't do it because I believe that we are here to inform people and communicate, nothing else..

So...

What do you think about people who are obsessed with that thumbs down thing?

Think well before you answer; you may also make some "fans" who are trigger happy to make you the next target :)

Riddle me this - my aunt is about 5'3" and chubby, is 57 years old and dresses conservatively. Last time she was in Istanbul with her husband who looks just like Santa Clause, she had her butt grabbed, her breast grabbed and the cab driver asked my uncle how much he wanted for "it" - meaning her. This is not b.s. Why do you think this happened to her and is this common in Turkey?...
