I'm not armenian, but i'm not turk either... I'm just curious.
A few years ago, turk and armenian historians were working together to know what really happened there and then. And who gave up ? Not the Turks, but the Armenians. So, what do they want ? the truth, or their own "shoah business" ?
The Turks should say that they'll recognise the armenian genocide as soon as France recognise it's own genocide in Vendee. Never heard about it ? Well, must be because France was on the "right" side of history, and Turks on the wrong one.
The truth is always the winner's truth ... If Germany had won the WW II, you'd have never heard about the holocaust. And unfortunately, Turkey (the ottoman Empire, actually) was on the wrong side in WW 1, allied with Germany. But did they have any other choice ? Most european countries and Russia wanted to ger rid of the ottoman empire. Seems that most Armenian agreed with those countries. What could the Turks do ? Make sure they didn't harm anybody (but who does that, during a war ?). Was there any other choice ? I mean ... if the Turks had not tried to defend their country, would there still be, today, a place called "Turkey" ?
The difference between what happened to the Jews, and what happened to the Armenians, is that the Jews were peacefull people who were killed because they were Jews. They were not with an ennemy, or whatever, and Germany wasn't threated by other countries. On the contrary, Turkey didn't agress other countries (as Germany did), and they had an outside and an inside threat.

At the end of WW I, the Armenians were on winners' side (France, England, and so on). So, to which story did the Europeans listen ? To the armenians' one of course, not to the Turks 'one. And till now, nobody let independant reasearches happen. Still worse : in some countries (like France or Belgium), it's now forbidden to search the historical truth, unless this truth is "There was a genocide, and the Turks are guilty". I mean, history is a moving science, you can learn tomorrow something that you don't know today, but if it happened, you wouldn't have the right to know it.

Firstly,I want to state that there is no Armenian genocide. However,if something happened as you said,it would be something as European Parliament decided.Have a look at that :

European Parliament Resolution - June 18, 1987

I.

2.Believes that the tragic events in 1915-1917 involving the Armenians living in the territory of the Ottoman Empire constitute genocide within the meaning of the convention on the prevention and the punishment of the crime of genocide adopted by the UN General Assembly on 9 December 1948; Recognizes, however, that the present Turkey cannot be held responsible for the tragedy experienced by the Armenians of the Ottoman Empire and stresses that neither political nor legal or material claims against present-day Turkey can be derived from the recognition of this historical event as an act of genocide;

Resolution discussed and approved by European Parliament on June 18, 1987.

Therefore,nothing would happen to Turkey.

Sera has already gave you the answer, and young turk proved that Sera is right.
young turk wrote: "...After all, they are descendants of uncivilized and brutal mountain people"
This shows that they (Turks) are completely unaware of the history, even their own.
They call Armenians uncivilized people and probably themselves people with high(!) and historical(!!!) civilization.

I don't wanna talk about Armenian civilization, it's not the place, but Turks, read your history and find out who you are.

Once he (young turk) told a Kurd : "...as a Kurd you have no right to comment"
Here it is:

Please be just, Who is racist? Who is lier?

I hope one day everyone could open his eyes to the past and look at it logically.

Even if the whole world recognizes the tragedy lived in our land almost 100 years ago as genocide,i personelly will deny that it was a genocide because it wasn't.
If civilian casualties during a war is considered as genoside i think all nations in the world are quilty.
War;itself is a crime.100's of people are dying in Iraq everyday, mostly civilians, women and children a total of 750.000 people are killed since the war began.I wonder who's going to pay the bill when all of this idioticy ends.

Who are you to ask such Question, besides if you wait just a bit longe, you will see what will happen next.
Every year Armenian organizations and committees and government sends letters to Turkish embassies and consulates all around the world and demand the recognition of Armenian Genocide and what we want after that, if you are so interested ask your government, (OH maybe they don't let Turkish people know about it, yes that's why you don't know what is going to happen).
Any way wait....you will find out, meanwhile read the history of Armenia, also about the contracts which where not honored by your government of the time, so you will be ready for what will come next.
Here is a site to learn the history of Armenia.

"why,why,why" "what what what"..."Amen"
All these words remind me someone, what a strange coincidence...
