So far I have it narrowed down to...
France
Italy
Germany
Slovakia

I can not speak any of those languages but once I make my decision which one I will purchase the Rosetta Stone software and learn it.

I want to fly from USA (Myrtle Beach or DC) to Salzburg Austria in July 2007. Everything I've found for flights is like $1200 - $1500 per person. I've tried travel sites like sidestep, kayak, and ITA Software. I've tried flying into different locations (e.g., Frankfurt is like $1050). What can I do??

I will be flying to Frankfurt, Germany in December and plan on taking the Eurail into Austria, Italy, and Switzerland. I have the 6 day, 4 country pass. Has anyone done this before? If so, do you know approximately how much I will have to pay for reservations and supplements? Also, are overnight trains worth it? Won't I be wasting a travel day by doing that? (Don't you have to fill in the date of travel as the following day if you take a night train?)

Can anyone suggest a good website to get a packge with hotel and airfare. I am thinking either Lisbon and Madrid or Amsterdam and Prague. I would be flying dec. 26-Jan 1 and leaving from Chicago. Help! I have been doing research, but can't figure out with a reasonably priced way to see two cities.
