I can not say that i have really heard any slang terms for Euros.

I was thinking about coining the phrase "Bob" or "Sobs" ? eg "500 Sobs" What do you think? Its needs to cut across all european language.

Have you got any cool slangs terms for the Euro? Lets hear them.

I think each language has it's own slang words for the euro.

In the Netherlands you hear the old words for the new coins.
In the guilder time you hear "stuiver" for 5 old cents. Now you hear the same thing for the 5 euro cents.
You heard "dubbel" for old 10 cents, which was the double of 5 cents. Now you hear that for 10 euro cents.

The other old terms referred to what was shown on the money: sunflower (of course Dutch van Gogh sun flowers); lighthouse (picture of serveral Dutch light houses), etc.
They have no equivalence in the new euro money.
The pictures on the new euro money are bridges and portals. They are not distinguishable enough to make it a dutch slang word

I love you're attitude about things DA. I also play the dumb american abroad and don't give a rat's butt.
I'm not sure about slang terms for Euros but I've heard Europeans called Eurinals, Europene, Euroweenies, etc. I suppose you could transfer the names to the money as well.
