I bring this up because I told one agent about a lower price and she refused to match it, saying "I work too hard and earn too little to rebate part of my commission..."

I'm curious as to how much of a large cruise ship (For example, a carnival fun ship) is under the water, the part of it you cannot see. I would like to see a picture or a drawing online somewhere, an example or a good explanation. does it just sit on top of the water? Or does it have a portion of the ship that goes under the water as well and if so how much on average. Also how easily is it for a cruise ship to be tipped over on it's side.

We will be cruising to Mexico in Nov. and found out we are on deck 3 toward the front of the ship. Does anyone out there know if this part of the ship will make you more sea sick. Getting the middle of the ship I guess is not an option because its all taken up. I do get sea sick very easily. So if it's really bad in that sect. then what are some ideas to reduce being sea sick other than dramamine, I hate the drowsy effect.Thanks.

Is it scary? What activities and other stuff do cruise lines offer? Do you get seasick easily? Is it dangerous?

My family and I are going on an Alaskan cruise this week and since I'm 21 and my sister is 18 we're afraid we'll get bored being the only young girls there. When we went to the caribbean there were a lot of young people (naturally, it's cheaper and tropical) but I'm not sure about this one.

My husband and I will be celebrating our anniversary and would prefer more intimate dining. Is this an option or will I have to settle with being seated with 2-10 other adults? If the latter is true, would a larger table be more intimate than a smaller one since smaller groups might expect a lot more interaction b/w strangers than a larger one? Or is it about the same?
