Your on-board credit just goes towards your final balance anyway. You don't have to pay till the end of the cruise so they'll just deduct $75 from your total. But I usually get a drink first. Casino won't be open right away till your in international waters. & wait till the last day to buy stuff at the on board shops cause they put everything on sale, & also you might see what u want for less at one of the ports.

Have fun : )

Your on board credit is like having your tab start out with a $75 credit toward EVERYTHING that you charge to your tab. That would include drinks, sodas, photos, souvenirs, fees for their specialty restaurants (NCL has lots of these), ship's tours that you purchases and your gratuities that are added to tab at the end of your cruise. You can also go to the casino cage and get cash to play and have it that charged to your on board tab (then you DO NOT have to spend it in the casino). So at the end you will just pay $75 less than you charge. And your bill is likely to easily get to and beyond the $75 as the gratuities will take up MOST of that.

NCL does not allow you to use your on board credits for Shore Excursions. You will have to apply it to your final bill at the end of the cruise.
