My family and I are planning on leaving from Miami, Florida to board a carnival cruise ship. Both dates meaning Feb 16th and April 20th fits into our schedule. The prices are about the same. Therefore I need help in figuring out what the weather is like during these months over there. Which month should we choose to go in?

We've been on 2 Princess Cruises and enjoyed the ability to eat at the 24 hour buffets the entire trip (never set foot into a dining room, as the same food was in the Horizon Court Buffet).

We really liked the informality of the cruises, and the simplicity of the automatic tipping (both drinks and room/dining room tips...we canceled the dining room tips and raised the room amount by some since we were never in the dining room).

There was far more entertainment than we could enjoy, so altho it was a good time (especially the movies under the stars), we have no frame of reference to compare the other cruise lines. I saw in the news that Celebrity delayed a cruise 6 hours for a false drug alarm and their idea of compensating the passengers was to give them a lousy $15 credit. So they are off our list. We are retired and in our 50s and DO NOT enjoy dressing up. So what cruiselines do you recommend and why? Thanks!

We will be on a cruise visiting St. Thomas, we are in the process of setting up a tour of the island, there will be around 40 of us. A couple people have asked about a stop to Blackbeards castle. After reviewing it, it looks like its $12.00 per person in addition to the land tour..do you think its worth it? Please only serious answers.

Carnival is rerouting their cruises that were supposed to go to Costa Maya.

I heard that the port is closed for up to 6-8 months after this last hurricane. I am supposed to go there in December. Carnival has taken down the link for the shore excursions there and I suspect that they are planning to reroute the cruises. I was just wondering if anyone knew where they would send us instead.

Hi All,

Im going on a cruise the end of Sep. My cruise and flight are already paid for. Im not buying any new clothes or things like that. I wanted some suggestions on saving spending money for my cruise. I had a budget to save and it seems like it's always something that comes up that you have to dish out more money. I dont use credit cards. I use only cash. I have a full time job and a side business. Ive done online surveys. Ive sold items on Ebay. Please give some suggestions. Thanks!
