We will be on a cruise visiting St. Thomas, we are in the process of setting up a tour of the island, there will be around 40 of us. A couple people have asked about a stop to Blackbeards castle. After reviewing it, it looks like its $12.00 per person in addition to the land tour..do you think its worth it? Please only serious answers.

We went to Blackbeard's Castle when we were in St. Thomas. We did the city tour and blackbeards castle through the carnival cruise line. We really enjoyed it. They took us on a taxi around to some of the best picture sites and then dropped us at Blackbead's Castle. It was like 35 for the whole tour per person. You could then walk down the stairs to the town or take a swim in the pool.
My husband is really into pirate history so I think he enjoyed it more than I did, but it was still nice. There were also several homes that had been built by famous people on the island. I would go for it. Like I said we had fun and the views were breathtaking.
