The ship is called the Paradise (soon to be the Carnival Paradise - but not yet). The cruise line is Carnival. Here is a picture of the Paradise docked in Long Beach ...

And here is a closer view of the Paradise ...

Yes, there is an arcade. The cost is the same is about the same as on land. There is also a pool and a water slide which is fairly popular.

You will board the ship on Friday. I suggest you spend the time between boarding the ship and the muster drill (lifeboat drill) exploring the ship. I also recommend that you go to the Camp Carnival get together after dinner on the first night, even if you never intend to go to Camp Carnival. You will at least have a chance to meet others your age.

Saturday is spent in Ensenada. As ports go, Ensenada is not that interesting. Explore the city for a time with your family, and then return to the ship in the afternoon for some swimming and other fun activities with other kids your age. Don't forget to check the Carnival Capers (the ship's newspaper) for the times when the water slide will be operating. Also, check what activities Camp Carnival is offering and when, just in case there are any you are interested in and don't want to miss. Saturday night is formal night. That is the night people dress up for dinner.

Sunday is a day at sea. This is a good day to do fun things on the ship. Again, check the Carnival Capers for the times the water slide will be open and check with Camp Carnival to see what activities are being offered.

The ship will dock again in Long Beach early Monday morning and you will be off the ship before noon.

type in paradise cruise lines they show you what the boat looks like , where the pools are , kids play areas . teen area the whole nine yards. the do charge $10 a day per person per room for tips than the give the tips to the people who clean your room. wait on you at meals and such. i know ncl cruise line does that so eveyone one gets a tip because before most people would not leave a tip or have money for any at the end of the trip. so if you have a charge card they ask for it when you borad the ship and they give you a card with things to bye on the boat at the shoppes and drinks add up on your bill . make sure you keep all your reciepts till you look over youe bill at the end of your trip. soda is extra some ship have a soda card you can buy that allows you to drink all the soda and non achocal drinks with that card. also the card is for you to leave or enter your room also to take with you when leaving the boat to go ashore. if you have any questions the staff always have someone to help you with many answers. i hope i help some.
