I will be joining a carnival cruise ship this week, and was wondering if I will have a safe to lock my valuables in. Can anyone help me out?

I worked for Carnival for about 5 years. There is definitely not a safe in crew cabins.

Talk to the crew purser when you get onboard and he will arrange a safety deposit box in his office.

Have fun.

Yes there are safes in the cabins. You will be able to set your own security code for it. You really will not need alot of cash, so its smart not to bring alot. Other than for shopping in port. Many places accept credit cards.

call your employer carnival and ask them. I 'm sure they would be happy to tell you those details. Maybe talking to personnel?
