Do I need to tip any individuals, like in the cocktail lounge or in the casino? Do people always put tips in the envolop at the rate suggested by the carrier? Can we tip the restaurent server if we like his/her service? What about the porter carrying our bags?

We are taking our four year old. She has been to Disney World and loves it. The Disney Cruise website has quoted me at $1483 for 2 adults and a 5 year old for August 2008, can anyone beat that price or know where I can get a discount?

the Catagory 5 Hurricane Dean is hitting 2 of the 4 ports of call for my Feb '08 cruise (Belize City and Costa Maya). hopefully they will be ready to receive ships by then. i'd hate for my itinerary to be changed to a place that i've already been to. is anyone booked on a near future cruise that has these ports of call?

My husband and I are planning our first cruise on the Norwegian Magesty in February. I was just wondering what type of attire is common for the various events. I know shorts and T's and bathing suits but as far as dinners are they dressy dressy as in wedding reception or dressy as in Church attire.

I was looking for a totally casual cruise (one that does not have a dress code). I heard about Windjammer but I also heard that they are going under and may not even be around when I want to take my cruise (January).

Is Windjammer really going under? If so, are there other cruise lines with a similar theme? My idea of a vacation is falling asleep in a chair, on the deck, waking up and going right to the bar to get a drink without having to worry about what I'm wearing.

Thanks.

I am looking to take my family on our first cruise during the spring of 2008. My children are ages 15 and 6. Ideally I would like to depart from Florida, since we have grandparents we could visit on either end of the cruise. I am a blank slate when it comes to cruises. I know absolutely nothing about them, so I guess I’m looking for someplace to start. I am hoping there is a cruise aficionado out there who can point me in the right direction.
