I have visited people there but am now unable to go (health reasons) and I do not receive any news. Can you receive letters, emails? The only letters I got were sent from another country, through tourists.

I would like to travel to Cuba this December. I was wondering about flights from Nassau or Jamaica? I would even consider a boat or ferry. You think I could pay someone from Key West to run me over there for a weekend? Thanks

I have been told to take holiday money for Cuba out in UK sterling to change when I am there. Although I realise that Cuba and America have their differences, I have always found the rest of the world preferes to deal in dollars over anything else, so which should I go for?

Also, can travellers cheques easily be used over there and should these be sterling or dollars?

Can an ordinary Cuban take money that they earn, or that is mailed to them, and go to the airport and buy a round trip ticket to Jamaica for a week?

I would love some URLs that defend your answer.

Hi everyone, I was hoping someone could tell me what the climate is like in Cuba in February / March - is it quite hot and when is the rainy season over there? All in all, are these months a good time to go on holiday in Cuba?
Also, can someone tell me if I go through a travel agency and stay in a hotel complex, how easy is it to get around and explore the real Cuba?
Thanks in advance.

My fiance and I would like to go to Cuba in November. We don't want to go to a super club with lots of people. We just want a quiet, beautiful place were we can lay on the beach and read a book. We are in our late 20's so having some kind of night life would be nice. Overall though, off the beaten path would be perfect. Anyone know of any good, all inlcusive places like this??
