If translated directly into our native language it would sound funny as hell and even loose it's meaning. There are thousands out there.
For me, the funniest would be the KFC slogan "Finger-lickin' good"
And the saying "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush".

I'm not that oriented about water levels and altitude measurements of the different locations in the Philippines. Let's suppose the sea-level was to rise 2-3 meters up within the next 4 weeks... where would you seek refuge?
What would you think would happen to life as we know it in Manila? The entire Philippines?
And would Gloria Arroyo need a life-vest or would she stay afloat anyway with that giant head of hers?

At Dauin, ****** Oriental, Philippines.

I've been there last year and I like it but it seems like there are only few tourists who went there and mostly are divers.

In the middle of a room was a large round table. In the middle of the table was a large pot of delicious stew. The people sitting around the table were thin and sickly. They appeared to be famished. They were holding spoons with very long handles that were strapped to their arms and each found it possible to reach into the pot of stew and take a spoonful. But because the handle was longer than their arms, they could not get the spoons back into their mouths. THIS IS HELL!

Let's go to the next room. It was exactly the same as the first one. There was the large round table with the large pot of delicious stew. The people were equipped with the same long-handled spoons, but here the people were well nourished and plump, laughing and talking. They have learned to feed each other. THIS IS HEAVEN!

I'm always willing to share my spoon with you all. God bless.

August 20 and 27 (Mondays) have been declared non-working holidays, following GMA's holiday economics.

Therefore, taking a leave for 4 days (August 21-24) will mean a 10-day holiday. Any plans?

It was summer, and once I saw an odd couple : Guy in shorts and tanktops, wearing sandals, and a backpack. Girl in pants, long sleeved shirts, with an umbrella open. Walking together, this looked odd. Guy wants the sun (and sweat), girl doing everthing to avoid it.

Your style - - - the same as your partner's?
