I already have my permanent retirement plot. Believe it or not but it is in The Filipino section of the cemetery. Good position too a lake in front and mountains behind with a shade tree close by.
Again stop with this morbid line of questioning...you are way too young.

Same as a regular funeral except if the cremation has already been done, they'll have a picture of the deceased and a little bronze urn. No body to view. Still a lot of people sad to have lost a loved one.

Cremation... Though i'd want a quick funeral before i get cremated so my family and friends could talk about what and how i look like inside the coffin. Haha!

I'd like to be cremated, but would also like to have a small funeral service or lamay before I go up in flames. I pick cremation coz there's less fuss, and my loved-ones can keep me in a little jar in a corner. Wouldn't want to take up burial space that could have been an apartment space for the living. ^_^

I guess it is better decided before I go. My mother had her funeral all pre-arranged as to what she wanted and it made things a ton easier for my brother and I when we were faced with getting her affairs in order. My mother was a very social person, involved in everything she could be and more. She preferred to be viewed by the public and to have on all of her finery. When she died, she actually looked great. The expression on her face was one of peace and happiness, and of great relief. I, on the other hand, would prefer a cremation when I pass. I believe that whomever might show up to view me when I die should have been here with me in life, giving me my flowers while I am alive to appreciate them. This isn't the case with lots of people. Many show up out of nowhere to say their final farewells and weren't anything more to the deceased person than an acquaintance at best. I believe that if that were to happen to me, I would sit upright in my open casket and tell them to get out of my funeral and go back to where ever they were when I was alive and they were too busy to come and see me then. I wouldn't want to lie in the ground under tons of dirt while my body slowly rotted away. I wish for cremation and my ashes to be scattered somewhere that was known for beautiful music, natural beauty, and quiet, peaceful surroundings. Maybe if I were to choose a place to be scattered, it would be the Brevard Music Center, which is in North Carolina near where I now live. My life is music and I love the peace and beauty that abounds in the mountains all around where I live. I can't think of anything better for my ending performance here on this earth.

Cremation. More practical nowadays.
But give me a little/short funeral so that my loved ones & friends can view me and tell themselves how good-looking I am, hehehe. .

Cremation if you do not have a cemetery plot to bury your dead into...6 feet under.

A Funeral to be daed and buried 6 feet under if you do have a family crypt somewhere.

These days usually, those who opt for a cremation usually do because they real estate for the dead is usually more expensive than for the living.

The cost of a cremation on the other hand is quite expensive in poorer less industrialized countries, so burying the dead 6 feet under is cheaper.

Hi Pau, well i think I'd prefer cremation becoz not that I would care if my body would be burned in flames anyway...it's more practical and my family can keep me in a tiny jar, put me somewhere that they'll always be reminded of me and it's like not leaving the house...ur still there...

P.S. Sorry if i need to put this here, would like to say thank u to Scarlet for adding me up...hope u'll send me an im so we can connect much better...c yah
