my college classmates and i are having a christmas dinner/get-together/reunion of sorts. any good restaurants/bars in the makati area, preferrably glorietta/greenbelt area? there are about 10-20 of us so a place that isn't too crowded / too noisy /too dark / too expensive will be good. a friend suggested Superbowl of China in glorietta/greenbelt, but im also looking at other suggestions, if any. suggested restaurants that also serve beer are welcome :)

I live about 5 hours from Manila and I get off school this Friday.
So what are the days he'll be having concerts and where?
I heard the time schedules of him being here are just awful which leaves me feeling guilty for not going so I was hoping he'd be here throughout the weekend.

By any chance anyone knows?

part of a click or group at work or school and even maybe here at yap.
What is the purpose of forming a click? Do some people need acceptance or a sense of belonging to a group for security, support, power, influence and resources?

I have witnessed this in the work place, in school and I heard it goes on in prison's.

Is it really necessary?

Can some people just learn how to be neutral with people instead of being attached to a click?

me and my gf will be coming from bangkok this dec26 to attend a wedding in davao city. but we need to stay a night somewhere near the naia airport with shopping mall nearby before heading to davao.

we prefer a cheap inn, or motel where we can secure our luggage while doing short-shoppings..and of course for a good night rest. thanks for your advice.

I call very often to Philippines and even using voip it costs a bundle. I just read that NTC has proposed new set of rules and approved for VOip in Philippines. Here is the link:

http://portal.ntc.gov.ph:9081/wps/_mc/MC2007/voip.html

I was wondering when they would be implemented and if they do, do you think call rates to Philippines would go down using voip?
Thanks

"Ask what not your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country."

I may not compete internationally, like a math quiz bee or something and I may not be a world class athlete but here are some of the little things that I contribute thus making my country be proud of me. I study real hard so I could finish school, get a job, pay my taxes and not contribute to the growing population of jobless. I obediently follow the traffic rules and pedestrian signs. I throw and segregate my garbage properly. I say 'opo' and still make 'mano' to the elderly. Nothing much but I know somehow, I make a difference.

So, Let's hear your input.
