I call very often to Philippines and even using voip it costs a bundle. I just read that NTC has proposed new set of rules and approved for VOip in Philippines. Here is the link:

http://portal.ntc.gov.ph:9081/wps/_mc/MC2007/voip.html

I was wondering when they would be implemented and if they do, do you think call rates to Philippines would go down using voip?
Thanks

The local telco PLDT would make sure that all blocks are thrown these bills way. They will lose a lot of money with VOIP.
